At the December 16, 2025, Board of Regents meeting, the Regents approved revisions to the Regents' Policy Manual (RPM) Sections 1.1 through 1.4, which address Responsibilities of the Board of Regents; Structure of the Board of Regents; Public Notice of Regents' Meetings; and Appointment of the President of the University.

The revisions primarily consist of simplifying language and streamlining the Regents' policies to ensure consistency with applicable law and existing Board governance practices.
