PolicyStat Support
Welcome to PolicyStat!
On August 4, 2025, UNM transitioned to PolicyStat, a new user-friendly and dynamic document management system that will house and maintain the Regents’ Policy Manual (RPM) and the University Administrative Policies and Procedures Manual (UAPPM). PolicyStat brings powerful new features to support greater access, usability, and transparency.
Effective August 4, 2025, UNM PolicyStat became the official source of UAP and RPM policy documentation.
What Does PolicyStat Offer?
- Modern, intuitive search functionality
- ADA-compliant and mobile-responsive design
- Shareable links to full or partial policies
- Version control with redlines and archives
- Several date fields to distinguish approved revisions from technical edits
- Approval workflows and lifecycle tracking
- Single Sign-On (SSO) and anonymous access
- Reporting capabilities and analytics
What Is New?
- A simpler, modern design that makes it easier to search for and within policies
- New RPM and UAPPM logos on each policy
- New fields showing last approval date vs. last revision date
- New URLs for all RPM and UAPPM policies
What Is Not Changing?
- Policy content – All current policies will be migrated exactly as they are
- The ability to access policies anytime, anywhere, by anyone
What Do I Need to Do?
Departments must update the links to any UAP or RPM policy references to ensure long-term accuracy and consistency.
A crosswalk document is available to help with URL updates (see example below):
Old: https://policy.unm.edu/university-policies/1000/1200.html
New: https://unmpolicy.policystat.com/policy/17084638/latest/
- Review your department websites and documents to identify links to RPM or UAPPM policies
- Download the URL Crosswalks to map existing URLs to the new PolicyStat links
- Publish your updated materials starting August 4th
- Note: The crosswalk and old redirects will remain available for one year to support gradual updates, but will not include new policies published after August 4th
