Regents' Policy 1.3 ("Public Notice of Regents' Meetings") has been revised, effective May 1, to reflect recent amendments to the Open Meetings Act that go into effect on June 14. Under the amended Act, public notice of Regents' meetings must be provided at least 72 hours in advance. Additionally, after the Regents meet in emergency session, a report must be provided to the Attorney General's Office about the meeting.
