Minor Changes to UAP 3700 ("Education Benefits")

On July 29, 2013, President Frank approved two minor changes to UAP 3700 ("Education Benefits").  First, a clarification was added to the second bullet of Section 2.2, explaining that eligibility for term and contract staff employees is contingent on having been employed in a benefits eligible position for at least one year.  Second, a bullet was added to Section 4.2 to indicate that the Dependent Education Scholarship benefit does not cover tuition costs that exceed the 15-18 credit hour rate.   A decision was made to implement these minor changes without going through the normal, and lengthy, policy review process.
