On July 17, 2013, President Frank approved a new policy on camping on University grounds, UAP 2270 ("Camping"), and revisions to UAP 3440 ("Family and Medical Leave"). The FMLA policy was revised to include new federal requirements on military family leave and the disclosure of genetic information, as well as changes recommended by the Department of Labor. Due to a large number of concerns raised during the public comment period about proposed changes to the definition of "immediate family" in the FMLA policy, the proposed changes to the definition were withdrawn.
