30-Day Campus Review and Comment Period

November 13, 2013

Proposed revisions to six existing policies and one proposed new policy are available for review and comment by the campus community for a 30-day period (November 13th - December 13th).  

The Bursar's Office proposed minor changes to four of the policies: UAP 7200 ("Cash Management"), UAP 7225 ("Cashier Operation and Services"), UAP 7230 ("Financial Aid Disbursement"), and UAP 7250 ("Refunds").  

UAP 6110 ("Safety and Risk Services"), which can be viewed with track changes or without, has been revised significantly to better reflect SRS's current organizational structure and charge.

The scope of UAP 2710 ("Study Abroad Health and Safety"), which can be viewed with track changes or without, has been expanded to include additional types of educational trips abroad and to clarify the responsibilities of trip leaders and participants.  

A new policy on "Gifts to the University" provides comprehensive information on the different ways of acquiring gifts to benefit the University and is intended to replace several existing policies.
