January 15, 2014 is the new deadline for commenting on the proposed changes to UAP 2710 ("Education Abroad Health and Safety Policy"). This deadline extension of about one month was requested in order to allow faculty and other interested parties additional time to thoroughly review and comment on the significant changes to the policy. The scope of the policy has been expanded to include additional types of educational trips abroad and to clarify the responsibilities of trip leaders and participants.
The proposed changes can be viewed with track changes or without. Please submit your comments online at either of these links.
