Minor Policy Revision Approved by President Frank

August 29, 2014

On August 29, 2014, President Frank approved minor revisions to UAP 2010 ("Contracts Signature Authority and Review"), in order to reflect revisions to Regents' policies approved in April 2014.  In Regents' Policy 7.8 ("Signature Authority for Contracts"), the threshold for when financial settlements should go before the Regents for approval was raised from $200,000 to $400,000.  UAP 2010 now reflects this new threshold, as well as the requirement that the University President must approve all financial settlements regardless of the amount.

In that these were minor changes to make UAP 2010 consistent with already issued changes to Regents' Policy 7.8, the revised policy was issued outside of the normal policy review process.
