Minor Revisions to Three Policies Approved

February 20, 2015

On February 20, 2015, President Frank approved minor revisions to three policies. as follows:

UAP 3215 (“Performance Management”)

  • Section 6.4 was revised to require that an employee’s response to a notice of contemplated action (such as the initiation of a discharge) be placed in the employee’s personnel file, along with the notice of contemplated action.  

UAP 4000 (“Allowable and Unallowable Expenditures”)

  • The second paragraph of Section 1 was revised to indicate that an appropriate Financial Services accounting office should be contacted, rather than Unrestricted Accounting. 

UAP 8210 (“Tuition and Related Fees”)

  • Section 2.2 was revised to make it consistent with other parts of the policy and clarify that the Regents approve differential tuition, but not the continuation of differential tuition.  Under the current Sections 2.2.7 and 2.2.8, the Provost and Chancellor approve the continuation of differential tuition.

In that these revisions were minor, they were made outside of the formal policy review process.
