Minor Revisions and a Rescission

August 19, 2015

On August 18, 2015, President Frank approved the following minor revisions to University Administrative Policy (UAP) 7780 ("Use of University Vehicles"): 

  • In Section 2.1 references to 15-passenger vans were removed because UNM no longer has such vans. 
  • In Section 2.2.1, the deductible amount was updated.  
  • Sections 4.2 and 8 were revised to conform to Safety and Risk Service's current method of checking driving records and designating vehicle operator permits.

At the same time, President Frank rescinded UAP 2420 (“Indirect Cost Rate Proposal for Sponsored Projects”).  The policy, which was last revised in 2006, was out of date and contained unnecessary detail about the University's Facilities and Administrative (F & A) rates.  Information about the F & A rates can be found in the F & A Rate Agreements published on the Vice President for Research’s website.
