On May 20, 2016, President Frank approved a minor change to UAP 3430 ("Catastrophic Leave Program"), which adds "parents" to the policy's definition of an "immediate family" member (see Section 3.3). This change allows staff who qualify for the catastrophic leave benefit to use the benefit for the care of a parent.
